I have lived in Memphis for over 20 years and serve as a Publicist and insurance broker. I travel the city daily learning, meeting, shopping, eating, in all parts of Cordova and more!CONTACT ME
Cordova has a variety of opportunities for everyone to enjoy! The diversity is amazing. You can get to everything fairly quick.
The perfect weekend would include movies at the Malco, dinner at the Butcher Shop and ice cream from Sheridan's just simply can't go wrong!
I wish I learned about the major cross streets and how they change from one part of town to the next. Another important factor is inquiring about traffic issues to ensure I get to my destinations in a timely fashion!
Lots of choices for eating out!!!!! Lots of choices for shopping!!!!!!
The traffic can sometimes be hectic! Getting lost
The neighborhoods are pretty well kept for the most part. Homeowners take pride in the community and believe in setting the example. Parks are well kept, well lit; the business community is very proactive and supportive!
Cordova has some crime, but not as prevalent as Memphis. MPD has its hands full since the Cordova is kinda large. For the most part, it's safe and for families and children.
Education in Cordova is very important. Parents are very involved and their are a few great private schools within the community. Tuition is affordable and the focus is centered around long term success!
The weather is fairly decent all year round.. in the summer it's toasty. The seasons can sometimes get confusing with temps being below normal and sometimes, crazy! You can get to downtown within minutes and hit Beale Street and Midtown Entertainment district!
